Complaints procedure

Everyone has the right to request digital accessibility to the website, mobile application or any elements thereof. You can also request information to be made available using an alternative means of access, for example by reading out a digitally inaccessible document, describing the content of a video without audio description, etc.

The request should contain the particulars of the person filing the request, indication of the website or mobile application it concerns and contact information. If the requesting person reports the need to receive information by means of an alternative method of access, they should also specify a convenient mode of presenting such information to them.

The public entity should promptly satisfy the request, not later than within 7 days from the date the request was filed. If meeting this deadline is not possible, the public entity will promptly notify the person filing the request about the time when the request can be satisfied, however, this deadline may not exceed 2 months from the date of filing the request.

If the provision of digital accessibility is not possible, the public entity may offer an alternative access to the information. If the public entity refuses to comply with the request to provide accessibility or an alternative method to access the information, the person filing the request may lodge a complaint regarding the provision of digital accessibility to the website, mobile application or an element of the website or mobile application. After exhausting the above-mentioned procedure, an application may be filed with the Commissioner for Human Rights.

Architectural accessibility

PBS Recruitment Office declares architectural accessibility of the Auditorium Novum building (AN), located at Al. prof. S. Kaliskiego 7 in Bydgoszcz. The recruitment office is located on the ground floor.

Namely:

  • Accessibility of building entrances:
    • there are two entrances to the Recruitment Office;
    • directly from the outside, the entrance located “on the right” side, flat entrance, no grilles or wipers in front of the entrance door, the door opens manually, equipped with a convenient handle;
    • the entrance located “on the left”, the main door opens automatically with a photocell; behind the door there is an internal vestibule and another pair of doors, also opened automatically by a photocell;
    • the building is clearly marked, the entrance is easy to find, well lit;
    • it is recommended to enter from the “right” side.
  • Accessibility of building interior:
    • flat and wide corridors;
    • the cloakroom is located near the entrance;
    • the building is equipped with a passenger lift (elevator), connecting the ground floor with the first floor;
    • the elevator is not equipped with voice announcements and does not have Braille labels;
    • the building has a visual identification system placed on the wall next to the entrances, on the side of the door handle, it does not have Braille labels.
  • Building service staff:
    • opposite the main entrance there is a porter's desk who can provide assistance and information;
    • the building has a cloakroom at the porter's desk;
  • Sanitary facilities:
    • there are toilets for people with disabilities on both floors;
  • Building surroundings:
    • there are 4 parking spaces for people with disabilities approximately 150 m from the building;
    • at a distance of approx. 500 m there is a bus stop “Kaliskiego – Politechnika”, all elements of the bus stop's equipment are available for people with disabilities;
    • traffic lights, sound signals and lowered curbs were used at the pedestrian crossing leading to the building.

Professional Education Department (including Business Education Office and the Teaching Improvement Office) declares architectural accessibility of the Regional Innovation Centre (RCI), located at Al. prof. S. Kaliskiego 7 in Bydgoszcz. The offices are located on the ground floor.

Namely:

  • Accessibility of building entrances:
    • directly from the outside, flat, no grilles or wipers in front of the entrance door;
